What we clear

Industrial sites fail differently to retail ones. The problem is rarely the entrance. It is the yard, the turning circle and the loading bay.

A large yard being cleared

Yards and turning areas

Enough cleared width for trucks to turn and back without finding a pile where they need space.

A loading area cleared overnight

Loading bays and docks

The surfaces where a shutdown costs the most, kept clear and treated first.

A cleared access road

Access roads

Getting trucks onto and off the property, which is where most sites actually stop working.

Monitoring conditions before a hauling call

Hauling off site

On a large yard, pushing eventually runs out of room. Hauling is planned, not improvised.

Sized for the site

A big yard is not a big parking lot

Industrial sites need cleared width rather than cleared area. A truck that cannot turn has the same effect as a yard that was never plowed at all.

We plan the route around how the site actually operates, which vehicles use it, and where the piles can sit without taking out the space those vehicles need.

  • Routes planned around vehicle movement, not just around the shape of the lot.
  • Pile locations chosen for the whole season, so week six does not undo week one.
  • Hauling planned in advance, because on a large yard it is a question of when, not if.

The yard keeps working.

How it works

Three steps to a yard that keeps operating.

Walk the site

Before the season, with the people who actually run the yard.

Agree the scope

Routes, priorities, trigger depths and the hauling plan, in writing.

We run it

Through the winter, sized to the site rather than to a standard route.

Reviews from across the Fraser Valley

I've trusted Owen to look after the snow removal and anti-icing at a few commercial properties in Chilliwack for many years now. His team is professional and they do a fantastic job. They watch the weather closely so they're always ready and they communicate with me regularly, especially on those hit-or-miss nights, to ensure everyone is on the same page. 10/10, would recommend.

Common questions

Can you work around shift times?

That is usually the whole point on an industrial site. Clearing has to happen around how the yard operates, which is one of the first things we work out on the site walk.

What size sites do you take on?

Yards and industrial properties across the Fraser Valley. The site walk is what determines the equipment and the route, so bring us the property rather than a square footage.

Do you handle the hauling as well?

Yes, and on a large yard it is better planned in advance than called in a panic. Pushing always runs out of room eventually.
