Chilliwack Mountain Project
60 feet tall, 250 feet long, built by one crew
A 1960s house sat on a slope with grass and trees running down the bank, and most of the lot was unusable. We built a multi-level rock wall to hold it, then everything that now sits on top. Engineered, permitted, and built start to finish by our own crew with our own excavators.
- 60 ft tall and 250 ft long, built in multiple levels
- 2,000 to 2,500 tons of rock from Armstrong Sand and Gravel in Agassiz
- Anchored 10 ft into undisturbed ground on a 2 ft compacted gravel base
- Clear crushed rock and geogrid behind the full height so water leaves instead of building pressure
- A sauna, covered structure, outdoor kitchen and fire pit on the terrace above
